Obituary dated Aug. 23, 1899, New Market, IN. Buried at Christian Ceme. Aug 22. Born Trimble Co. Ky. in 1825. Married 1852 Miss Washburn.
Children by this union 10 sons, only 3 living at time of his death- Richard, Benjamin and Thomas. Wife died 1869. Remarried Widow Hartling, maiden name Mause. Additional children- Martin, Oscar, Lizzie, and Laurine. Farmer. Came to Ind in early manhood. Died Aug. 21, 1899. Age 74 yr, 3 mos.
