I don't think he is the same Thos. Rickard I am looking for. All though the time frame is about the same, I do know that his wife was Susan. There seems to have been quite a few Thomas Rickards in KY during that time. Thank you for the reply.

I had a Thos. Rickard in my Dunn family; but don't know if he's the same as yours. Mine came from England and settled in Hancock Co.KY. He married Julia Dunn, d/o Littleton Dunn & Elizabeth Hager on Aug 20, 1862. I know he was a COAL MINER from England; but have not found him anywhere else after that marriage. Is it possible it's the same man? Get back with me, if any of this sounds familiar. Julia may have died with no childen. I'm not sure what happened to the family.

My gr grandfather was Thomas Rickard somewhere in Ky. His was married to a woman named Susan in late 1880's just south of Henderson KY. He had 2 daughters, Delores Elizabeth Rickard (b 1888), and Leda Mae Rickard (b 1890), son Clyde died at age 4 or 5. Susan (the mother) died shortly after son Clyde was born. My grandmother Delores Elizabeth married George August Reherman from IN. in 1910.
Thomas married again (wife's name unknown) and had twins (born 1907)Earl (died in infancy) and Pearl and another son Jessie. That wife died and Thomas married again. They had no children.
I have not been able to find any information on them in the census records in that area.
If anyone knows of this family of Rickards, please let me know.
