Civil War Vet Dies
David Addington, 89, Civil War veteran of this city, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Reynolds. He is survived by his five sons, Sam, Jasper, Bea and Herbert of Boonville, and Harold of Cumberland Gap, Tenn., and two daughters, Mrs. William McVey and Mrs. William Reynolds, of this city.
Funeral services were held at Mt. Gilead church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial was in the church cemetery.
