Thomas Adkins -Deceased
Martha Adkins -Widow
On Nov 28, 1894 Martha Adkins widow of Thomas Adkins filed an application showing that Thomas Adkins died at Crawford Co. Indiana intestate leaving an estate real and personal of less than $500.00 and asking that the same be appraised. On Feb 21, 1895 Joseph Denbo and William Froman made returns of an inventory and appraisement of the estate and accompanied by the statutory affidavit of the widow Martha Adkins showing the personal estate of the decedent to be of the total value of One Hundred and Forty One Dollars and fifty cents and that he died seized of no real estate.
And the court having examined said inventory, appraisement, and affidavit of said widow and no objections being interposed it is ordered and adjudged by the court that the estate be delivered to the possession of said Martha Adkins for her sole use and benefit and that no administration be had on said estate and that said cause is fully ended.
