We are pained to announce the death of Col. Elisha Mills of Yellow Springs at the advanced age of 65 years, which event occurred at Salem, Indiana, on the 2d inst. Col. Mills' disease was bilious fever terminating in congestion of the brain. He had long been afflicted with a chronic complaint for which he sought the advice of an eminent physician at Salem and while there was attacked with the fever that proved fatal. He was one of the pioneer settlers of Ohio, having emigrated from New England when quite a young man. For some time after his removal to this state, he resided in Cincinnati, but for many years past has been a resident of Yellow Springs. During his long and eventful life he bore the character of a useful citizen and an enterprising businessman, and he was esteemed and beloved in all his associations.
