Alexander Hockaway of Blue River Township, Harrison County, celebrated the 112th anniversary of his birth last Thursday. He was born in 1780 in what is now Kentucky. He is the father of twelve children, and his wife is still living and is thirty years his junior. He is a blacksmith and has never taken medicine but once and that was after he was 100 years old. He is in excellent health.
