My husband's great-great grandfather was McHenry Meador. I have been to Big Spring and copied tombstone inscriptions. A book with a title similar to Two Centuries in Elizabethtown and Hardin County has a 2-3 page illustrated article about Big Spring with references to Mc Henry and Gabriel Meador. I used it at the Newbery in Chicago but I imagine the Filson Club and Louisville Free Public Library would have it. I wish J.D.
