The decendents of Nathaniel and Sarah have been well documented and put all over the Internet, but nobody has ever traced Nathaniel back very far.
I think that you are right about that "unknown" child of Nathaniel
and Sarah's being John William Seals. My notes on John William are:
m. Mary
m. Emma Smith Emmons 6 Nov 1891 Dubois, Jasper Co., IN.
I copied down a web page with this John William Seals but by the time
I tried to find it again, it had been removed from the internet so I wasn't
able to find out who had posted it.
I have info on the decendents of John William Seasl and Emma Smith Emmons so Email me please so we can compare notes.

I have been looking for years and can't find them. Nathaniel doesn't list them in the 1880 Census but I finally found a listing of Sarah and Nathaniel's children. From www.familysearch.org - Daughter- Sarah Seals- age 17
Unknown son-(I this believe son to be to my maternal gg grandfather -John William Seals) - age 12
Son - Thomas Seals - age 9
Son - George Seals - age 7
Daughter - Mary Seals -age 5
Son - Hiram Seals - age 4
Daughter - Angeline Seals - age 3 months
The 1880 US Census indicates Nathaniel's birthyear to be 1842 in Indiana. Hopefully this information will aid in our search. E-mail me - we are probably cousins.

Would like to know the names of Nathaniel SEALS and Sarah M. HARBIN's parents.
Nathaniel SEALS (b. about 1842-55) and married Sarah M. HARBIN (b. February 06, 1850) on December 11, 1863 in Crawford County.
The name of Nathaniel's father may be John but am not sure. Any information on either Nathaniel or Sarah would be helpful.
