Kentuckiana Genealogy: County: Meade Co., Kentucky: Meade County / Harris, Davis, Cooper, Crist

My great grandfather, Barton Harris (1806-1850)and his wife Analine Hagan were from Montgomery Co.,MD. They were married in Washington, DC in 1826 and moved to Kentucky where my grandfather, James Augustus Harris was born in Hardin Co., KY in 1845. He had an older brother WILLIAM PERRY HARRIS who was born in Maryland in 1829 in Maryland. Barton died in 1850 in Hancock, Harrison Co., IN. The 1850 census shows the widow Analine Harris with William Perry Harris, James Augustus Harris, and 7 other children still in Harrison co., IN. Next door is John Henry Harris with family. I believe this John Harris is the recently dead Barton's brother. My grandfather James A.Harris fought in the Civil War and settled in MEADE Co. where he married Laura Frances Webb and fathered 9 children including my mother who was Dora Harris (Stone), Let us see if we can fit our families together.
