Kentuckiana Genealogy: County: Crawford Co., Indiana: Brown Surname / Jonathan R. Brown

I am looking for any information regarding the parents of Jonathan R. Brown and his wife Sarah Deering Jenkins of Crawford County Indiana. They were married sep 17 1831 (probably in Crawford) and had at least 12 children.

I am directly decended from Nathaniel P. Brown, the youngest of those children.

J.R apparently died before 1870 and is most likely buried in Crawford Cty along with his wife, however, no information has been located.

There is circumstantial evidence that JR is the son of James (also of Crawford County) or from Zacariah Brown of Marengo, Crawford, Indiana.

I am looking to solve this mystery and any help would be appreciated.
