More on BOHALL PHILLIPS HURLEY ~ watch events unfold with Bucky Phillips up in Chautaugua county New York ~ that's where all these guys lived before they ended up permanently in Indiana.

Plenty of them still up there.

So, who is this crowd?

Well, this fellow is just part of the residual population of the Oneida/Mohican/Brotherton Indian tribes who have lived in this area since way before the American Revolution.

They are all well-mixed with an underlyng white population ~ hence all these European names.

The news is finally mentioning that this fellow is part Indian. About time ~ he's a "traditionalist" and very dangerous any time to anybody, but his relatives out there in the Hills are taking care of him.

Mary, I have some information on the family you describe by this thread, but I don't guarantee all of it. First, I have his name as Louis who died 1844, Henderson co. KY, with their marriage date 19 Jul 1832 in Vanderburgh co. IN.

She, being my 2nd ggrandmother by her 2nd marriage, to George A. Rhoads in Vanderburgh co. IN after Louis's death.

Her parents being Harmon and Mary Roney Razor (Rasure), both of which were born in VA, 1784 and abt 1788 respectively. There is more, sketchy information of her ancestry, but undocumented.
