My great-great grandmother was Catharine Beavers who married John L. Hall in 1842 Hardin County KY with permission of her father John Beavers. Her mother Kitty Beavers lived with a family, George Patterson, according to 1850 census. I have found her maiden namne as Tull. Catharine had a brother named James.
Could this be of the same family?

Nancy Beaver(s)married Aaron Hardwick McCarty and they lived in Owen County, Indiana, and died in Putnam County Indiana.

I have almost no other information on Nancy, and am looking to find her history. She couldn't write, accordng to a census, and I don't know her parents. Was she Native American? Were there any other Beavers in the area? Do you know a history for the Beaver name? I found a Mary Beavers from Meade County, who married a Dimmit Allen. Thanks for any information.
