Many of my ancestors settled in Indiana starting, I believe, around 1810. Some stayed in IN, some went on to TX, some returned to OH. One of these ancestors, John Hoover, came to IN from KY. Some of the Carnahans, Harringtons, and Hulens may also have come from KY. They all had married into the Hoover family. Abraham came from Franklin Co., Oh. around 1822. He and John were brothers. Some of the other brothers also came from OH. Abraham and some went on to TX. John stayed in IN and I believe is buried somewhere around Columbus, IN. Counties involved are believed to be Daviees (we have found numerouse land records for several of them), Sullivant, Greene, and Knox (which is where we think John first arrived). I would love to find some of my IN cousins and exchange information. Please contact me directly if possible jtmbudd@msn.com.
Hoping to hear from some of you. Judy
