I realize your message was written four years ago, but I just found it today.

Jacob Stites Hand and "Sally" (Sarah Hataway) Graves were my ggg grandparents. I have names of four of their children, but didn't know about Scilvitha Stites Hand. Do you have a list of their children?

Sara Stites's mother was named "Silvitha" or "Silvithia" Flowers and her father was Jacob Stites. I have not been able to learn the names of Jacob Stites' parents. Thomas Hand's parents were Levi Hand and Ester Hewitt.

One of Jacob Stites Hand and Sally Graves' daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Hand was my gg grandmother. She was born 6/25/1836 and died Dec.16,1900.

I do have a little information about Silvitha Flowers' parents if you need it.

If you have the names of Jacob Stites parents and/or the children of Sally and Jacob Stites Hand, I would really appreciate it.

I am looking for information about Jacob Stites Hand who was born in Cape May, NJ on July 28, 1806 and married Sally Graves on April 27, 1828 in New Albany, Floyd County. He died July 25, 1897. Jacob Stites Hand parents were Thomas Hand and Sarah Stites. Jacob Stites Hand and Sally Graves daughter was Scilvitha Stites Hand who was born in New Albany, Floyd Co. on October 17, 1833 and married John Edward Cline of November 4, 1856 in Floyd County.
