No, the Allens' are not native American. John Allen is buried in Daviess county at the Raglesville cemetery. Many of his relatives live in Greene county, next county over. Some of the Sims' (Langham, Pauly, Starling, and William came to Lawrence county Indiana and some moved on to Missouri while one, Starling moved back to Daviess county, Indiana.

Searching for information on the Lewis Allen family and Sims families. Allen's had settled in Orange Co. Sims in Pike Co. Granddaughter of Lewis Allen and Elizabeth Black married Sidwell Sims in Warrick Co. in 1843. Were Allen's native American???
