I was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. My mother was a Davenport. Her grandfather was Thomas Davenport. He had a brother we believe was named William born in 1815 and died in 1887. We only have the initials W. S. Their father was William Davenport. Is there any chance that W.S is your your William? Look forward to hearing from you. Marilyn Senterfitt

I'm looking for info on my great-grandfather, William Davenport...He had a son named Ruell and Clarence, my grand-father....I know he was a Methodist minister, back in the days when they had what they called the circuit riding preachers...I also know he was buried in an unmarked grave in an Elizabethtown, Ky. city cemetary....Any info anyone has would be appreciated......
