STELLA E. ROOT, May 9, 1984.

Stella E. Day Root, 79, of Milltown, died Monday at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Harrison County and was of United Methodist faith. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois Troncin of Milltown; five sisters, Wanda Snyder and Dorothy Deutsch, both of New Albany; Fern Goss of Otwell, Olive Williams of Indianapolis and Sylvia Seacat of Milltown; a brother Roy Guy Day of Palmyra, and a grandchild.
The funeral will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home. The Rev. Don McCarrell will officiate. Organist and vocalist will be Mrs. Sherry Binkley.
Burial will be in Milltown Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home.

Looking for any information on Stella Day Root and Oscar Root, both buried at Milltown. He died 1947 and she died in 1984. I haven't even been able to find death certificates for them. Thanks...Sue (Root) Waterman
