Thanks for your help. Have since gotten a copy of death cert. for gggrandfather who was buried in St. Michaels Cemetery so I'm pretty sure this is the church I needed to find. Again thanks for taking the time to answer my post and your help.

St. Michaels Church was at 200 Brook Street. The First Registry of St. Michael's Church is a book on file at the Filson Club.

There was a Saint Michael's Catholic Church down in the East end of Louisville close to Story Ave years ago, that a lot of Germany families belonged too. I don't know if it is still there. Hope this helps.

I am trying to find the name of a Catholic Church near 737 Laurel Street in Louisville Ky. I believe my ggggrandparents may have been married there after arriving from Germany around 1866. Also their children would have been baptised there. Any help would be appreciated.
