I am looking for any information about Root family members who lived in Crawford and Perry Counties in Indiana and in Hawkesville, Hancock Co., KY. I am especially seeking information on a John Root who married a Minnie Webb or Minnie McQueen, and had a son, Clifford. Clifford, I believe, resided for a while in Perry Co. Ind. John may have had other children, William, Eliza, and Sidney. These 3 children would have been born between 1862 and 1872. Clifford was probably by a 3rd wife and was born about 1889.
