New Albany Ledger Standard 7 Feb 1876 p4 c1: Death of Another Old Citizen. We sincerely regret to learn of the death of Mr. Madison Martin, which occurred at his residence in Greenville township, last Friday night. Mr. Martin was about 65 years of age and had long been a resident of that township. He leaves a wife, children and grand children to mourn his loss, as well as many friends, for all who knew him claimed him as a friend. The remains were buried at the Kepley School House graveyard, at one o'clock this afternoon; the Odd Fellows and Grangers, of both of which orders he was an honored member, turned out in strong force to pay the last sad tribute of respect to their departed brother. The funeral was preached by Rev. Mr. Hutchinson, of the Third Presbyterian Church of this city, and was very impressive.

please write me privately with the subject line reading Madison Martin Obit and I will hunt it up.
I think I have it. I know that he kept the record books for the Bethlehem Church in Washington County, Indiana.
