Kentuckiana Genealogy: County: Jennings Co., Indiana: Willis Sullivan

William "Willis" Sullivan was born in Virginia about 1777. He died after 1840 in Jefferson Co., Indiana. He bought land in Jefferson Co. on Dec. 20,1811. His wife was Francis "Fanny" Fewell b. about 1784 probably in Virginia. She died in Jefferson Co., Indiana before 1889. They were married July 13, 1801 in Culpeper Co., Virgina. Francis was the daughter of Nathaniel E. Fewell b. 1757 and Anna Stoyr (This spelling often found, but I believe her name was Story not Stoyr. Nathaniel and Anna were both born in Richmond Co. Virginia. They were married in Virginia September 15, 1783. Francis had at least three brothers and two sisters whose names I have.

Nathaniel was the son of Wm. Fewell and Johanna Boling. He was a Rev. War Vet. D.A.R. Record No. 196249. He died in 1838 in Ind. while visiting his daughter. He is buried in the Ford Cemetery on the Ford farm in Jefferson Co. Ind. in an unmarked grave. I have more both ways if you need it. E-Mail TGF40@aol.com
