Dr. Thomas Courtney - where & when did he die?

In the 1880 census a Dr. Thomas Courtney was listed in Crawford County, Patoka Twp. (I think it is Patoka Twp.) His wife was Mary H. She died in Clay County, IN and was taken back to Crystal, IN for burial. We cannot find which cemetery she is in and we do not know when Dr. Thomas Courtney died. Mary was a widow living with children when she passed away. I would appreciate any help in finding when and where he died and where they are buried. Mary is very likely Dr. Thomas' second wife.
