I am interested in finding information on Nancy Chappell, who married Isaac Cooper in Harrison County in 1832. Many people have the same Isaac Cooper marrying Margaret Gilmore in 1844, but I haven't found any proof that Nancy died before 1844.

Do you have the Mauck's marrying into the Chappell family and moving to Cass Co., Nebr.?
Edward Franklin Chappell (1862) married Margaret Lavisa Mauck (1862) 4/13/1882 at Corydon, IN. They moved to Cass co in 1887 and farmed near Avoca and Nehawka, NE. Margaret's father was George Mauck of IN and mother was Mary Wilma Gilmore of IN.
I am looking for KY info for Jesse Chappell who married Mary Ann ? in KY and moved to Harrison, Co. prior to 1820. I have their info in Harrison, Co., but not much prior to that or who parents were. The above Edward Franklin Chappell was 3 generations down from Jesse Chappell.

My link with Harrison Co genealogy is through my 4th great grandfather on my mother's side, John Pittman, who migrated from the Shenandoah Valley to Indiana with his wife Elizabeth (Mauck) and family in ~ 1809. Records suggest they settled in Scott Twp. Elizabeth apparently died not too many years after they arrived in Harrison Co, because John re-married in ~1814 to Christiana (Pope) Oatman, widow of John Oatman who operated a ferry on the river. John Pittman supposedly took over operation of the ferry.
John Pittman's sister, Catherine (Pittman) Schneider (aka Snider), and her husband Johannes (aka John) migrated to Indiana at about the same time. Other Harrison Co family names involved with my branch of the Pittman family are Fleischmann (aka Fleshman), Conrad, Lopp, Hardsaw, Trotter, Snapp, Smoots, and Fravel.
John's first cousin, David Pitman (sic), and his wife Mary Ann Ouchleman also migrated to Indiana. David and many relatives are buried in the Pitman Cemetery on Moberley Rd. David's descendants probably account for most of the Pitman's in Harrison Co today.
I have reasonably good records on many branches of this family if anyone is interested in sharing information.
