I am looking for information on the family of Lemuel Brown and Margaret Duncan who were married in Floyd County on August 20, 1854. Lemuel was supposedly born in Louisville in 1828.
The family is shown in 1860 Floyd Co census with children George, Henry and William. Also living with them is a Ellen Winkley age 12 and a James Duncan age 11. I don't know if Margaret Duncan was married to someone named Duncan first and James is her son or if James is her brother. By 1870 the family is in Mercer Co., Kentucky and then they disappear.
Can anyone help me?
