Kentuckiana Genealogy: County: Bullitt Co., Kentucky: Joseph ASBERRY or ASBURY

Joseph ASBERRY was born in 1802 in Virginia, but went to Kentucky before the birth of his two sons, Isaiah in 1824 and Abram in 1827. In 1850 he went to Jackson County, Illinois. I need to find the county in which they lived. I would like to have more information about the birth of the boys, because I don't know the name of their mother.
