I recall reading a story about him about 1960 in Readers Digest. It was titled "Our Fight To Save Floyd Collins". I know it was over a year ago you posted, but I just saw it. Good luck.

I am searching for info. regarding the death of an ancestor of mine who died in some cave in Ky.His name was Floyd Collins. This is a "far fetched" search, I know. This happened maybe 50-70 years ago.
