Great-grandmother was Louisa ? She married Jacob Frey in abt. 1862. A birth certificate for their first child states her maiden name as LAUER. Her death certificate states her maiden name was Zollinger. Family papers indicate she was born in 1841 or 42 in Harrods Creek. Death certificates of some of her children state her maiden name as Zollinger and two of the younger children's DC's state her maiden name was Green. I find an IGI with a Louisa Lauer born in 1842 Jefferson Co. Ky. I find her on no census. There were however Lauer families in Jeff Co. at the time. There were no Zollinger's int he census until about 1860. Any leads or information will be greatly appreciated to help find her family and who she really was.
