I am having the same trouble with the parents of my grandfather, Noah W. Howell. I finally found on one 1930 census that he was born in Tennessee, but I can't I can find no Howell with a Noah W. Howell listed for birth certificate or any other info. I will check the records I have and see if I have any info on your Howells. Francesbur@aol.com

I have been doing Genealogy for 23 years and have never had so much trouble with one person as I am having with finding the PARENTS of Ebenezer Fields b. Jan. 1770 in KY. m. Sarah Roxannah Burden 20 Jan. 1799 in Bourbon Co., KY. He died 12 Nov. 1846 in Ray Co., MO.
Does anyone have any ideas?
