Looking for parents and siblings of Wm James Strocksdill/ STROXTILL b. 04 April, 1841-45 in Russell Co. Ky.
Served in the Civil War in the 30th Reg, Co."K". And received a pension.
Found Wm, wife and first child and (?) mother in the 1870 Census of Pulaski Co.Ky. He married Nancy McLIN/ Macklin there on 22Dec. 1866 . Lived there,and in Bowling Green, and in Maysville Ky till abt 1888 when moved up
to southern IN. They lived there till 1909, when Nancy died, and later Wm moved back to Jeff.Co about 1913 to his son's farm, where he died in July of 1915.
If you see anything about a Strocksdill b about 1845 or before or a Stroxtill b. from 1845 to 1860 please give me a 'hollar".
