I have been trying to find the true parents of Sudie Scott( who married Henry Jasper White). On certain documents she is listed as daughter of James Scott and Lucretia Duncan. I know this is not so as she is listed in my family as having a sister " Lou", and 2 half-brothers Bob and Clarence Scott. I believe James may be her father, but do not believe at all that Lucretia is her mother. Family rumour has it that she was raised by Howson Duncan and his wife because her mother died when she was a baby. However, records indicate that Lucretia died when Sudie was 16 years old.
Susanna married Henry Jasper White( whose brother was Perry White and Siter was Lora White) and they had 8 children..Lou Ellen, Leslie Albert, Rosabelle, Robert Scott, Anna Lee, Frank Glenn, Vena Boyd, and my great grandmother Mary Effie.
I would appreciate ANY information that someone could give me to solve this little mystery!
