Kentuckiana Genealogy: Queries: General Queries: Looking for descendents of Richard Willis, my grandfather

This man was my grandfather. He and Sara (Sarah) Melton were never married but they produced a son, my father, whose name was Ronzie Richard Willis or Melton or Owens. He never knew what his legal name was because we were never able to locate a birth certificate for him. When my father was about 2 Sara married Andrew Jackson Owens. He went by the name of Jack Owens. Sara died when my father was about 17.

I know that Richard Willis married and had a family because my mother told me about a time when she and my father were going somewhere and they stopped by Richard Willis' home. My father talked to him for a minute but his wife didn't invite them in and had little to say to them.

This all took place somewhere around Burkesville, Albany, Glascow, and surrounding areas. We moved away when I was about 5 so I don't remember a great deal.

I know that somewhere out there I have relatives and I would really like to find them. Please help me.
