Nobody seem's to want to talk of him for some reason. I'm the youngest of his children so I'm told. Charles or charlie yates was born feb 2,1902 where I dont know. My mother Jeanette Stapleton lived in floyd county,ky with charlie they had 6 children togather .A set of twins named Shannon and Shawn a boy and girl.Rose Myrtle yates was the oldest and then they had willie yates then she had juanita yates ,then Agnes which is me . I;m the youngest one. Charlie parents was Andrew J. Yates and Mary Elizabeth Adkins. He was buried in the McKinney Cemetery at GALVESTON. He died feb 21 1976 in Pike Co Ky.
