Kentuckiana Genealogy: Queries: Unsolved Mysteries: ARCHIVED QUERIES: Rose Vessels lost in Kentucky

A young woman named Rose Vessels, born about 1817 in Kentucky, married a man named Joseph Back around 1841 or 1842, supposedly in Marion County. She was supposed to have been born in Marion County also. The only record I have been able to find is on the death certificate of one of their sons, Joseph Columbus Back. I know there are a lot of Vessels in the Marion County area, but there is no listing for Rose. Could it be her middle name? Her sons, Thomas Jefferson and Joseph Columbus both went by their middle names. I hope someone out there can solve this mystery for me so I can find out more information about her family.
