Kentuckiana Genealogy: Queries: Unsolved Mysteries: Want to find my hard to locate Kentucky "Rider" ancestors!!

I know my paternal great grandfather was named Erwin W Rider and that in the 1910, 1920, and 1930 census records he was listed as having been born in Kentucky to a mother and father who were also both born in Kentucky. I can't find him prior to the 1910 census. By then he was already married to my grandmother Edith F Potts with my grandfather Clifford Rider, great uncle Cecil Rider, and great aunt Mabel Rider already born. Does anyone have any information on Erwin W Rider born approximately 1882-1884 in Kentucky!? His children were born in Illinois in 1904, 1905, 1906. The family was living in North Dakota in 1910 and 1920 census, but he had "divorced" my grandmother and was living as a border with another woman listed as his wife named Rena in Washington state by 1930. I can't find any record of him after the 1930 census, although my older brother remembers him visiting us in Minnesota in the late 1950's early 1960's.
