I'm looking for a William Deaton. The only info i know on him is , he may have lived or worked in Scott county , Indiana during the years of 1948 1959.It was stated to me that at one time he may have had a business in southern Indiana. I believe he would have been born around 1930 -1938.If he had any children they would probably have been born in the 50"s--or early 60"s.
my husbonds decendsents are of Deaton's.They lived in Kentucky and Indiana.
If anyone knows of this family please contact me.
thank you,

I am looking for info on Lorinda Jenkins. She married Tandy Tooley in 1837 in Warrick County, Indiana. I believe they were both from Kentucky. They later moved to Pike County, In. and had a large family there.

I am searching for Ameset (spelled many different ways) Jenkins ancestors and her Jenkins family. She married Calvin Hoskins on Aug. 30, 1843 in Spencer County, IN. In the 1850 Census of Spencer county, Calvin and Ameset had a Nancy Jenkins living with them, that I believe was Ameset's mother.
From the dates, Lorinda and Ameset could be sister's. Does any of this connect?

I am searching for any information on James Jenkins and his wife Susan (maiden name unknown). James was born in 1820 in Indiana. In the 1870 Census it is listed that his mother was born in Kentucky and his father was born in South Carolina. Susan's mother was born in Kentucky and her father was born in Indiana. They eventually moved to Iowa, Clarke County, Osceola Township, and had 4 children - George S., Oliver D., Ida M., and Joseph. Any help would be greatly treasured. Sincerely Shanel
