Henry EDWARDS had 2 sons that I know of: Henry Jr. and Harvey. Harvey married Lucinda A. and had 4 children: Clancy b: 1840, Reuben b:abt 1845 in IN. (He married Nancy and had a son, Harvey.), Lafayette b: abt 1850, and William Henry b:Sept 1841 in IN. (He married Sarah Jane MAYFIELD and had 5 children: Mary Jane(Mollie) b: June 1877 d: Dec1942.(She married James D. KEITHLEY in 1900 and had 9 children), Margaret(Millie) b:1876 d: 1918(She married Charles or Clarence SCHAEFFER), Franklin Laffayette b:June1869 d: 1942 in IN(He married Sadie MOSIER and had 6 children: William, Nicholus, Mary, Harry, Jesse, and Doris), Delbert b: Jan 1870(He married Emma ANCELOT and/or Cordelia).) The other son, Henry Jr was born July 1814 in IN and died Jan 1866 in IN. He married Susannah F. HUNTER and had 5 children: Robert b: 1836, Mary b: 1842, Julia Ann b: 1846, Harvey b: 1849( He married Sarah Lee TYLER and had 3 children: Rosa, Emma, and Ida May), and Elijah b: 1844(He married Barbara and had 3 children: Lenora, Claudius, and Adari) In 1846 Henry purchased land in Floyd County for $1700. In 1853 the land was surveyed and named EDWARDSVILLE in his honor. He and his wife were among the first to be buried in Tunnel Hill Cemetery.
