Searching for parents & siblings of James S. BROWN born in Kentucky about 1807. James and his family, wife Anna BRASHEARS born in Indiana about 1817, are found in the 1840 & 1850 census; District 45, Harrison County, IN. James & Anna were married in 1835 in IN.

The children of James & Anna: Eliza, William, Silas, Marinda, Joseph, Mary, James W., Indiana, and Samuel.

My connection is through James Wesley BROWN who married Rebecca DIGGS and later moved to Meeker County, Minnesota by 1865.
