Kentuckiana Genealogy: Surnames: Surnames G-I: I Surnames: Ingram: James Ingram purchased land in 1816

I have a line from the book "Jeffersonville Land Entries 1808-1818". This line says James Ingram purchased 160 acres in Jefferson Co. KY. the line reads: SE S22 T07 N11E. Which translates to: SE quarter Section 22, Township 07, Range N11E. When I wrote to the Court House in Jeffsonville, Indiana asking where this land was situated, I was told this land is in Boone Co, KY.

Our Miller/Ingram bible says our James Ingram died 1850 in KY.

Has anyone been in the Boone Co.KY courthouse looking in 1850 land records, to tell me if there was any land sold in 1850 (in settlement of his estate) or probate records for a James Ingram in 1850?

For got to mention that James Ingram was born 1787 in Hawkins Co. TN. May have first married Nancy Miller, 2nd Mary Lee. May have been married again - unknown.
