I am seeking information on the Jesse Robertson family. Jesse's grave is in the Hopewell Cem. with a Rev War stone marking it. His wife Sarah is buried beside him and two of his daughters and families graves are near his stone.
If there is anyone there who has information on his ancestor -according to the Boone Co. accounting of the dedication of the Rev War stone, his father was John - killed in Rev War, 8 Sept 1781 - that is the extent of what I have on his ancestors. If anyone else is researching this Jesse Robertson's ancestors - or his descendents I would appreciate contact with them.

Jesse Robertson's son - William Robertson, died while living near Elizaville (Boone Co)in 1849. I have been unable to locate his grave or the grave of his wife who traveled to Tippecanoe Co., to be with her children. The pair had several children and I have been unable to find traces of the youngest, Robert b.1848 & Mary, b. 1846 - and although unable to find the information on it, I believe that one son, John, b. 1832 died (before the census was taken in 1850) on the Canal.
I would certainly appreciate any information I can glean concerning this family and especially those that I have been unsuccessful in locating. I have a good deal of information concerning the son, Francis Marion Robertson who settled in Tippecanoe County and much on his descendants I am willing to share.
