Kentuckiana Genealogy: Out Of Area: Breathitt Co., KY: John "Littles Creek" residents and history

My descendents, The Thompsons spent many years in the (John) Littles Creek area of Breathitt County. My grandparents, Kelly Thompson and Dora Napier Thompson raised many of their 15 children there. I would like to locate any documents/photos that may identify names of families that lived in this area as well as information and photos of any stores/Post Office, and of the "Little Mission School" that was there beginning in 1930. Also, I understand that there is a Reunion of Littles Creek residents on 16 October at the Jackson Army Guard Armory. Thanks for any help that can be provided.
