They changed the name, part 3
Stones had become black, and were nearly unreadable, but by photographing them and running fingertip through the letters, I am sure it is the right one of my collateral lines,James was brother to my direct ancestor, Johnson Robertson!
So, if you are looking for anyone from Kentucky (or anywhere else, for that matter) that is reported to be buried in an "Antioch" cemetery,
check the cemetery that is about 8 miles north of Shelbyville on rt 128. Go until you get on a large overpass, go over the top and right at the bottom is a road to the left. Take it! Go a few miles and as you come out of a small woods, on your right you will see the sign. Follow the lane at the sign "Brunswick Cemetery"- it's a little way in, across a very tiny bridge over a culvert and up the hill. Cemetery is on your left. Good Luck

Well, we had passed that one twice! We went back and then walked the cemetery. - Lo and Behold, I found the stones for both James R. Robertson and Martha Metcalf!

For information: Cemetery name was changed!!!
As we were tracing an ancestor, James R. Robertson, b. 1798, Madison Co. KY m. Martha Metcalf.
We had him as buried in the Antioch Cemetery, near Shelbyville Illinois.
After a couple of hours of going up and down roads, looking, I saw a man mowing at a farmhouse, and stopped to ask about the Antioch Cemetery. He thought a few minutes, and then said "They changed the name to the Brunswick Cemetery".
