Levi H. Brooks, Trustee, Dies At Alton Home - Alton - Funeral services
for Levi H. Brooks, 59 trustee of Boone Township, were held at the Baptist Church here Sunday afternoon, with burial in the nearby cemetery. The Rev Jean Osborn was in charge. Mr Brooks died Friday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Brooks; two daughters, Mrs Nadine Fullenwider and Miss Mildred Brooks; two sons, Ivan and Joseph Brooks, of Alton; two sisters, Mrs Rachel Campbell, of Alton, and Mrs Bertha Purcell, of Valeene; two brothers, William A. and Hirman Brooks, of Alton. A son, Robert Brooks, was killed in the Philippines during World War 11.
