Martha Ellen Bullock Dies Saturday Night -- Death came Saturday night to relieve the patient suffering of Mrs Isaac Bullock at the home of her son two miles northeast of this city, where she had been confined to her bed since being stricken with paralysis over a year ago. She leaves behind a host of friends who mourn her passing as she was a woman who made many friends by her kind and pleasing manner.

Martha Ellen Bullock, fifth child of John and Phoebe Ridge, was born May 31, 1865, at Alton, Ind., being 59 years and 3 months of age at the time of her death on Saturday, August 31, 1924. She married on November 22, 1885, to Isaac Bullock, three children being born to this union -- Samuel Alonzo, Alma and John Benjamin, the daughter dying in infancy.

She lived a true Christian life, joining herself with the Methodist church at David City, Iowa, in 1901. She was stricken with paralysis in April 1923, from which she never recovered. She is survived by her husband and two sons, John Benjamin of this city and Samuel Alonzo of Shenandoah, Iowa, two brothers, William W. Ridge of Louisville, Ky., and Benjamin F. Ridge of Duncan, Okla., and one sister, Mrs Coraelius M. Wilkes of Mount Carmel, Ill.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Wilcox funeral home, conducted by Rev. F.J. McCffree. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
