Francis, Louis Edward
Died November 30, 1948, Mill Creek, Deuchars, Crawford County, Indiana.

Alton - Louis Edward Francis, son of Edward and Mary Francis, was born near Apalona, on June 6, 1896 and died unexpectedly on November 30 at the age of 52.

On November 1, 1920, he was married to Lettie Ridge. To this union five children were born: Cilvan, of Yuba City, Calif.; Ruby Houser, of East Detroit; Edna Atwood, of New Albany; Robert and Frank, at home.

He is survived by his wife and children, five grandchildren, three brothers, William and Alphonse, of Oriole, and August, of Arden, N.C.

Funeral services were held at the Harvey Flat Holiness Church on December 3, with burial at the Luxembourg cemetery, near Oriole. The Rev Jean Osborn, of Alton, officiated.
