Died 19??, Alton, Indiana.

Alton - Final rites for Ernest V. McLain, 73, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist Church of which he was a member. The Rev B.L. Orr officiated. Burial was in the Mill Stone cemetery. Mr McLain died Sunday at his home after a long illness.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs Maudie McLain; two daughters, Mrs Ferris Mock, of English, and Mrs Violet McLain, of Alton; four sons, Ernest McLain, of Beechwood; Harry McLain, of English; Euric and Casper McLain, of Alton; four brothers, Edward and Taylor McLain, of Cannelton; Ray and Hiram McLain, of Alton; a sister, Mrs Ellen Deuchars, of Alton, and nine grandchildren.
