McLain, Mrs Roy (Sallie)
Died 19??, Corydon, Indiana.

Alton - Mrs Roy (Sallie) McLain, 64, died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday at the Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. She had suffered a stroke at her home eight days ago.

She was a native of Perry County, and was a member of the Harvey Flat Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include her husband, three sons, Edd McLain, of Alton; Elwood McLain, of Beechwood, and Bill McLain, of Sellersburg; two daughters, Mrs Eulala Trimble and Mrs Neil Arensman, both of New Albany; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs Mary Jordan, of New Albany; Mrs Minnie Schuley, of Corydon, and Mrs Addie Crawford, of California; five brothers, Elige Sturgeon, of West Fork; Andy Sturgeon, of Grantsburg; Louis, George and Leo Starkey, of New Albany.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Stephenson Funeral Home in Leavenworth. The Rev C.W. Askren, of Corydon, officiated. Burial was in Flower Point cemetery.
