Born Alton, Crawford County, Indiana

Deuchars - William Sherman Ridge, son of Albert and Edna Ridge, was born July 16, 1912, and died December 28 at the age of 39 years at his home in East Detroit. He had been employed with a Detroit Creamery for the last 12 years.

He married Mrs Marie Edwards, January 27, 1950.

Survivors are his wife, parents, five sisters, Mrs Cecil Lane, of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; Mrs Sylvia Chambers, of Detroit; Mrs Marie Farris, of Logansport; Mrs Naomi Watson, of West Fork, and Mrs Lettie Francis; three brothers, Lawrence, Marshall and Ray Ridge, of Detroit; a step daughter, Betty Edwards, and a stepson, Kenneth Edwards.

Funeral services were held December 31 at Reads Funeral Home in East Detroit, with burial in (Cadillac) Memorial Gardens, near Mr. Clemens, Mich.
