Having your surnames included on our surnames list is simple! And...you will have your own profile page that you can edit and update at any time!

Follow these simple directions and you will have your own profile page and be
included in our surnames list:

  1. Request a Username and password at our Profile Editor. Simply click on the button that says *Instant Registration* and follow the instructions.

  2. Be sure to include a valid e-mail address or you will not receive your password.

  3. Once you have received your confirmation e-mail which includes your password, go back to the Profile Editor and log in.

  4. Once you have logged in, you may change preferences, including selecting notification options, and updating your personal profile, which includes your Kentuckiana Surnames.

  5. Be sure and update your profile and include your Kentuckiana Surnames or you will not be included in the Surname Pages.

  6. A Personal Profile URL looks like this:
    http://www.kentuckianagenealogy.org/cgi-bin/discus/board-profile.cgi?action=display_profile&profile=USERNAMEHERE-kentuckiana
    To be sure your Personal Profile page is working, copy the above URL and replace USERNAMEHERE with your username, then paste it into your browser.

  7. Once you have successfully added your surnames to your profile, please e-mail us to speed up the process of adding you to our surname pages. We will check the user lists periodically, but an e-mail from you will speed up your entry.

  8. If you seem to be having problems with our boards, please e-mail us at help@boards.kentuckianagenealogy.org, and we will do everything we can to assist you.
