Is the Martin Akers the s/o Joseph and Anna Willis Anderson Akers? If so, I have the Akers line through my children's great-grandmother Dawn Evans Condra. she wrote a book and can be seen at the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library in the Indiana Room on the Akers Family.
Happy Hunting,
Louise

Hi, what Akers are you looking for? I've lost a George Acres, b. 4-10-1794; was apprenticed to a Michael Troutman in 1805. Served in War 1812. Md Priscilla Cheshire on 2-25-1813 Bullitt Co., KY.
Priscilla's father moved to Floyd Co., btwn 1820-1830. We thought he might have moved with the Acres/Akers.
