Seeking ANY information on the ELZY family of the Jefferson & Bullitt County area of Kentucky. Elzy Elzy appears in the 1810 census of Jefferson Co (and again in the 1820, 1830, & 1840); he is listed as a taxpayer in Bullitt Co., KY in 1833-1835. By 1850, the only ELZY that appears in the federal census for Bullitt Co is Silas and Robert Elzy (living in seperate households; Silas married with children; Robert age 11). We are trying to determine a connection, if any, between these three men. We are also interested in ANY Elzy (and various spelling) in that general area of KY. Thanks!
